July 4th on Land and Sea

July 4th celebrations mean school’s out and summer is here; complete with barbecues, fireworks and all things red, white and blue. It is also a day for remembering the values that the country was founded upon. Inherent rights as American citizens focus on sustaining equality, life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

This year, Christina pursued happiness on land by returning to her California roots with her youngest son and husband, while boy mom #2, Cathy, spent the weekend sustaining the sweet life by the sea with her family during a trip to her boys’ birth place, the Bahamas. Whether on land or sea, ethical muse aims to balance our busy summer travel schedules with plenty of down time, reflection and fresh air. How did you celebrate the 4th of July holiday?
